The Shelter Island collection combines a contemporary silhouette
with traditional shapes and natural materials. The softly curving
arms taper to the floor. The slight bow on the front gives the upholstery
a familiar, yet fresh look.
The arms are created of baby rattan wrapped with peel. The combination
of wicker, peel, and baby rattan give the group a feeling of constant
motion.
The upholstery collection includes sofa, loveseat, chair, ottoman,
and a marvelous swivel rocker that invites us to stay awhile. A generous
cocktail table and end table complete the livingroom assortment.
For the dining room, Shelter Island offers both a round and rectangular
table along with arm and side chairs and a most comfortable bucket
on casters. Also available is an etagere/entertainment center with
a cabiner for storage below and room for TV or display above.
Shelter Island by South Sea Rattan is available in several
finishes and is comfortable in formal or casual settings.
